Almost

perfect? Anything but.

The last 6 months a lot happened around here. We donated, sold, freecycled our stuff in the US that we accumulated over the years and packed some very precious belongings and moved across the globe. OK - that is a good enough reason for blogging inactivity...I think.

Now everywhere I look, I see clothes that are over-embellished, made with artificial fibers or that simply run color. It is extremely hard to find quality cotton here, sad, considering the fact that the world's 2nd leading exporter of cotton is India.

Sewing's on its way.

  1. I look forward to seeing what you come up with. Sounds like there are challenges ahead for your sewing!

  2. Thanks Natalia. I hope to find what I need to continue sewing, for now I dont have to worry about finding fabric and notions as I brought those from the US :-)

  3. Hi there,
I'm a pretty random reader who stopped by your blog, having clicked through one of the comments on Ikatbag blog. I just wanted to say good luck! I don't know if you need/want encouragement, but I think it can't hurt :). It takes a lot of courage to move to a different country (done that), and even more to come back to your "roots", as you say. I hope you're finding what you've been missing in the US.
    All the best,
    Katia

  4. Katia, Thank you! I am not yet able to run to the store the moment I think about it. Because in the US you always know where to go, because you could find big box stores specializing in every thing you could come up with. Anyway, I am making it work. Thanks so much for your feedback. It's nice to see people do read and wish well.
